Privacy notice

Short version: no cookies of our own, no advertising or cross-site trackers, no IP addresses in our logs. We count visits in aggregate with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies. Tool settings stay on your device.

What we collect

• Server logs. For each request: the time, page, response status, the country reported by our network provider, the referring website’s domain, and whether the request looks automated. We do not store IP addresses. Logs are kept for up to 12 months to keep the site running and to measure which pages are useful.
• Contact form. Your message, topic, optional email address, the page language and your country. We use it only to reply and keep it for up to 12 months.

What stays on your device

The site remembers your 18+ confirmation and the last settings of our tools (for example the Crash Lab and budget planner inputs) in your browser’s local storage. This never leaves your device, and you can clear it in your browser settings at any time. The session timer and self-check store nothing.

Service providers

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site, and may set a strictly necessary security cookie. To see how many people read which pages, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics: a small script that sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not fingerprint visitors. It gives us only aggregate figures such as page views, referring websites, countries and device types. We use no advertising or social-media services.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, through the contact form. You may also complain to your data-protection authority.

Changes

We will update this notice if anything changes, and show the date at the bottom of the page.
